The Mimic: A Dadecdote
I was talking to Mom on the phone. She was on America Online.
Little did I know, Dad was listening in.
She was talking to me about something, and then she signed off from AOL. As she signed off, the AOL voice chirped, "Goodbye".
At which point, Dad said, "Joseph?"
That's right. He confused my brother's voice with the America Online guy.
Let's hope that my brother never tells Dad that he has mail.
